Edit added at the bottom. Scroll down to see! Welcome to Sunday's With Crissy's 4th Challenge! Today we are encouraging "Layers". As always, this is open to your interpretation.
Take a look at what my Crew Members have dished up for you this week!
This first one is by Zoe McGrath. You have to look at the difference between photo 1 and 2 to get the drift of what is happening here. Look at how she engineered the paper to make the dog pop up from the box!
You have two weeks to enter this challenge! On June 6 I will announce the randomly drawn winner of the blog candy. Look what you could win! :
Fancy Tags by Spellbinders
At that time I will also announce the winners of the Artist's Choice Award. In case you are wondering how the winners are chosen, they are quite simply my personal favourite creations out of all the challenge uploads. :-D I will post the thumbnail links of the winners of this award in the next challenge post. And I hope they would feel honoured to display this trophy on their blog:
One more item today: Our lovely designer Lisa has a special request on her blog regarding her sister Jayme. Lisa is asking us to send a card to Jayme who has terminal lung cancer. She'd like us to send a funny card (with a frog if we have one!) but not a get well card, to give her sister some joy and smiles at this time. She is offering a huge blog candy to a random participant and many companies have donated to the cause. Please see the details on her post HERE.
Edited to add: I am now offering a free froggie image, inspired by Jayme. If you are interested in having this image, just go to this SITE and download it free of charge. Its a gift from me and Whimsy Stamps for anyone who wold like it. Please respect that we still do not want you to share digital image files, even when they are free. Just send your friends to that site so they can grab it too! Here is the image I call, "Beach Baby Jayme"
And now, over to you:

Welcome to Sundays With Crissy's third challenge! Today I would like to introduce you to my super talented, extremely wonderful design team! Also, I will be announcing the winner from the last two challenges and I'll show you what you can win four weeks from now too! And, I have this announcement: If you are joining the challenge in hopes of winning the monthly prize, you can now use my digital images from Wags 'n Whiskers as well as my digital line from Whimsy Stamps and Squigglefly! Also, I have chosen some beautiful cards from the two challenges that will get my Artist's Choice award to display on their blogs! Lots of excitement going on here today!
First of all, I wish to thank everyone who showed an interest in being on my team. It was heart warming and encouraging to see the enthusiastic response and I was very touched. I wish I could have chosen everybody that applied. But, in lieu of giving the shop away, I did narrow it down to nine ladies who I felt could best show off my digi art! And so, in no particular order, here are the nine fantastic paper crafters that have agreed to be on Crissy's Crew and help me with these challenges!
Hello my name is Patricia Garcia. I am a native from Mexico but have lived here in California since I was a little girl. I have always liked papercrafting and coloring is my passion. I enjoy making my own greeting cards and sending them to friends and family. I am a big fan of Crissy's images! It's a very big honor to be part of Crissy Armstrong's awesome design team!
Hi there! My name is Melanie Holtz and I live in Southwestern Ontario with my wonderful husband Dean and our two beautiful children Nathan and Ainsleigh. I have always had a love of art, and discovered the world of cardmaking and Copic markers in 2009. What a journey it has been!! I am such a big fan of Crissy's artwork, and feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to represent her work along with this amazingly talented team of ladies!!
My name is Lisa Cook. I am blessed to be Mom to Jordan (16 son) and Ashley (14 daughter). My wonderful husband Aaron, of 19 years is very supportive of my stamping addiction! I love various lines and see new ones every day that are fun to look at and inspire me! I enjoy blogging and getting new ideas from the creativity of others!
Hello from Wisconsin! I have three amazing grown children and SIX adorable grandkids, with two more on the way! I’ve been making cardz for about two years now, it definitely is my “therapy”. My true passion in this craft is using my Copic markers ~ they’re so much better than crayons! I’ve been a huge fan of Crissy Armstrong and her work for a VERY long time and am honored to be a part of Crissy’s Crew and delighted to work with such talented designers.
Hi my name Jodi, I live in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii and work as a nurse during day and a crafter at night. I’ve been married to the best guy on the planet for a year and have one fur baby!! I’ve been a lover of crafts and crafting for as long as I can remember. My first craft memory was learning how to crochet in 5th grade from my grandma and I was first introduced to rubberstamps when my mom bought one for me (when I was in elementary school) and I still have it today. Being able to have a blog really gave me the drive to create and share what I love with everyone. I’ve met some amazingly talented people and have built wonderful friendships too!
I live in SW Ontario, Canada with my husband, daughter, and two crazy cats. I have been an avid scrapbooker for most of my life and started making cards about 4 years ago. Most of my stamp collection at the moment is rubber but I have also fallen madly in love with digital stamps too!! I gravitate to using alcohol based markers to colour my images but also love to use Prismacolor pencils with mineral spirits too; sometimes combining both methods. I feel very excited, blessed and honoured to be a member of Crissy's Crew!!
Hi my name is Debbie, and I am a stay at home mum from the UK. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember and I just love images that are cute and whimsical.
Papercrafting is my creative outlet. My beautiful daughters are my inspiration and thank goodness hubby is supportive, cause there's lots of clutter when I'm in the middle of creating!
G'day all from the land down under, where I have a very supportive partner who supports my crafting addiction, two gorgeous dogs and a very noisy Quaker Parrot! I have been stamping and making cards for about 15 years. I just love working with paper and am continually thinking up ideas of how I can make paper MOVE... I am so excited to be a part of Crissy's Crew and to have the chance to inspire you with her gorgeous images.
Am I blessed or what! These ladies are amazing, loving and sweet, and talented beyond words!
And they are all supporting me on this wild adventure in challenge blogging!

Jane Johnson
"I'm Jane from the UK and I am a stay at home Mum to two gorgeous children who keep me entertained and busy. I have loved to draw, paint and create for as long as I can remember and soon became addicted to card making when I purchased a small kit 2 years ago. I have been incredibly lucky since I started my blog and am on a few design teams and made lots of special friends. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of Crissy's team and to have the opportunity to work with her adorable images."
Linda Jessup
Hi I’m Linda. I am from the UK, but for the time being I live in Bahrain with my lovely husband Brian who works here, he is very supportive to my crafting adventures as I call them, which is bit of a task sometimes with all the mess I make in my craft room. I have always loved arts and crafts especially scrapbooking, altered art and card making but my adventures took a turn when I found stamping three years ago and was hooked straight away, I use all kinds of mediums but Copic and Pro Markers are my favourites.
MIchelle Petermann
"Hi everyone -- I'm Michelle & I live just outside of Milwaukee, WI. I'm married with 2 boys, 9 &12. I've been stamping for 6 years now & I LOVE cute images which is why I've been a fan of Crissy's since the day I met her. It means so much to me to be part of the Crew! My preferred way of coloring is colored pencils/Goo Gone but I do try desperately to use Copic Markers & even more desperately -- watercoloring! Thank you so much to Crissy & the team for having me!!"
Shari McLaughlin
I am mom to two adults and 4 fur babies, and have been a crafter forever. I started with rug hooking, crocheting, faux painting, and then ran my own tole painting business for years ( even cut my own pieces of wood ). Scrapbooking entered the picture about 14 years ago when I moved to Calgary. When Copics first came out I resisted - who needed another addiction LOL!!! - that lasted for a whole two months, and then I took a basic class and the rest as they say is history!! I became a Copic Certified Designer in April 2010 and LOVE everything about Copics, including experimenting with all kind of techniques, and passing my passion and knowledge on to fellow Copic lovers!!! I am so honored to be invited to join the DT at Sundays with Crissy, and am looking forward to getting to meet new people through the challenges.
Shannah Bartle
“Hi! I'm Shannah and I live in the beautiful Hills region of South Australia. My wonderful hubby is a Police Officer, and we have one cat (ie demanding fur-baby) called Poppy. I love traveling, photography, talking and reading, and am happy as long as I'm learning something! I took up card-making about 3 years ago, and the very first stamps I fell in love with were Crissy's High Hopes cuties! So you can imagine how excited, nervous, and completely honored I am to be a member of Crissy's Crew! :)”
