Hello Friends~~Hope you all had a Wonderful Easter!!!

I have great news to share~~ I am a Great Aunt (I know I am~~hee hee) ok-- really I have a great niece.

Her name is Hayden Fern 

So with that~~ I made a baby basket for the little sweetie!!

Used Crissy's Baby girl Digi Image~~just one of her many new images--Find them all at Whimsy Here!!

Colored baby girl with Copics. Added diamond glaze to blankie binding to make it look like silk.  Ultra fine raspberry FS makes her blankie warm and fuzzy :)

The decorated handle with baby carriage charm :)

Challenge #16: Elaine's Turn

Firstly, apologies!  My post is a bit late this month - brain like a sieve!

As you probably already know, the challenge this month is Spring Is In The Air (or baby cards), and Crissy has the most adorable new spring-themed images available as digis through Whimsy Stamps.  I've used two of the new images on my card today - MEADOW BACKGROUND and LILLY FILLY.  Love how the images merge together and I had SO much fun colouring them in.

I used Crissy's card as a reference when I was considering how to colour Lilly Filly.  I love Crissy's colouring, and studying her coloured images has been a big help over the past couple of years in developing my own skills!  I also followed Annika's sky tutorial to create the sky.

I coloured the image with Copics.  Papers are Echo Park Springtime 12x12.  I coloured the ribbon using a Copic marker to match my coloured image and tied the bow with the Bow-Easy template.  The gorgeous chipboard corners and butterfly are from the Make It Crafty Fine Swirls lasercut chipboard pack, and I painted them with Twinkling H20s.

I sure hope spring stays in the air...we had snow earlier this week in Southwestern Ontario! I do love winter, but I am ready for warmer weather and sunshine to set it. I love hearing the birds out chirping in the trees, and it's so nice to let some fresh air into the house. It's my turn today to share a card today, and we have two options for your challenge theme this month..."Spring" or "Baby" themed projects!

For my card today, I used two of Crissy's newest digital images from Whimsy Stamps..."Meadow Background" and "New Chickie". I merged the images together before printing them out on Neenah cardstock. The paper is from October Afternoon.

Wow will winter ever end and will it ever be spring...Not here in NY I think.... It's so nice to have some adorable and pretty images for Spring to use!  Hope you can join us for the challenge this month!  Crissy has so many fun images that are available as digis or rubber.


My first creation uses the darling Newborn Joon  and the Meadow background available at Whimsy Stamps and illustrated by Crissy.  Isn't he just darling?

He was so fun to color and so adorable, that I just had to create a gift set with him for my next creation.

I have used this gorgeous Wag N Whiskers image called "Some Bunny loves Me" coloured with markers and chalks, and gone a little bit over the top with the Yellows...

Spring is in the Air at Crissy's!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you can forgive me! I realised at the very last minute - well actually late - that it was time for my post at Sundays with Crissy!! I've been so busy I knew what day it was but forgot the date! Are we seriously in April already??? hehee

So it's 4am here, I have JUST finished my card and I am going to warn you right now... I am RUSTY!!! So don't expect too much. hehee I got all my lighting wrong and then I started to get tired and by the time it came to creating a layout I was like... argh just stick it down Zoe! lol

I felt so bad that I wasn't able to join the blog hop last week so I thought it would be nice to create my 'Spring is in the Air' project using 'Heartfelt Angel' from the collection raising funds for the Japan relief effort which I combined with 'Meadow Background'.

The papers are from KaiserCraft. I really love this collection with the muted tones and little accessories.

All coloured with copics. I thought I would try Annika's sky, who in fact even created a video recently showing you how easy it is!

I am sorry I didn't keep a list of colours this time. The blue dress from memory was BG000, 02, 05, Hair was E70, 71, 74, sorry that's all I remember!

Spring Is In The Air/Babies - Jodi's turn

Can you believe we are already getting ready to celebrate Easter very soon? Time really just flew by since we celebrated the start of a new year. This month's challenge is SPRING or Babies! That means you are able to create anything with these themes. Crissy has created the cutest and sweetest digital images just perfect for the challenge. The image I have used is called Bunny with Flowers.

I love that he can be used for Easter but also for any other occasion. Be sure to get your new digital images from Crissy at Whimsy Stamps! Don't forget that you don't have to use an image created by Crissy, you can use any other image and still be included in the draw for the prize. But if you use an image from Crissy you will be added to the drawing twice. You can also participate in only up to 3 entries with each challenge per month otherwise your entries could be deleted.

Here's a little about Annika Ryan...

I had managed to sail through 36 years of my life without any inclinations towards crafting and in firm knowledge that cutting a straight line is physically impossible and therefore pure myth. Then I got pregnant second time, had a sudden idea to make some cards and bought a guillotine. The rest is history.
