Challenge #18: Here Comes The Sun!

Hi Peeps!  Crissy here filling in for Sarah who is taking this month off.  Thanks for all you do on here Sarah! You're the bestest!

This month our challenge theme is "Here Comes The Sun".  You may interpret that any way you wish, and create a card, scrapbook layout, or other paper craft using either rubber or digi stamps.  You can see that on my card, the sun is implied.  :-)  But just for fun I added a sunflower charm.   I kept this card clean and simple -- a very rare thing for me to do! It certainly makes Cranston Crab front and center.  Cranston is a brand new digi I am releasing through Whimsy Stamps today (June 1).  He is super easy to colour up, so he's great for fast and easy cards.  If you want more details (like Copic colour list) you can check it out on my personal blog, Crissy's Art 'n Heart.

Why don't you get creating and show us your Sun themed cards!! There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month. Otherwise your entries could be deleted.

Usually on the first Sarah posts the Artist's Choice Awards as well as the winner of last month's challenge blog candy (five of my digi's).  But this month because of extenuating circumstances, the Artist trophy winners and the blog candy winners will be announced by early next week.  Please be patient with us as we work out the necessary details.
Be sure to revisit this blog all month long so that you can see the eye candy my DT has prepared for you to enjoy!  We will have a new post every few days or so.  Enjoy the sun people!!
