SWC - SHARON'S TURN TO SHARE SOME INSPIRATION

This month's challenge is ANYTHING GOES USING A CRISSY ARMSTRONG STAMP OR DIGI STAMP. How cool is that!

I have used this gorgeous Pixie stamp called CHRISTMAS DREAMING (available from Whimsy stamps here) and I love it so much I'm hoping Crissy will do more she's just so cute!  For more details you can check out my blog here.

Now it's your turn to show us your 'ANYTHING GOES' cards!! There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month. Otherwise your entries could be deleted.

You can link up you project on Crissy's post by clicking HERE. Just find the Blue Linky button and add your project! (She has all the instructions!)

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas

CHALLENGE #22 - THANKS GIVING/THANK YOU -SHARON'S TURN

What a couple of week's this has been! I usually like to have my card and post up and ready in lots of time but unfortunately it hasn't happened this time!

So this month's challenge at SUNDAYS WITH CRISSY is THANKS GIVING or THANK YOU. I hate to be ignorant but I don't know what the celebration Thanks Giving is for! I did think perhaps it was celebrating Indepentance Day but that's the 4th July, then I wondered if it was something to do with the Pilgrim Fathers! So I don't rightly know - so I am sticking with THANK YOU which is far more generic.

I have used SWEET SARAH available from WHIMSY STAMPS singularly or as part of a set.
For further details check out my blog here.

Now it's your turn to show us your Thanks/Thanksgiving cards!! See upload instructions below!!

You can link up your project on Sarah's post by clicking

CHALLENGE #20 - SHARON'S TURN

Hi Everyone
Firstly I would like to say I am so pleased and excited to be asked to join Crissy Armstrong and her fabulous design team at "Sunday's with Crissy".
Here's a little about me.
My Photo
My name is Sharon and I am from the UK.
Like so many crafters I have always enjoyed creative pursues. From my first memory I can remember colouring paper stencils, always having arty things for Christmas, loving copying drawings and colouring (did really well at School in Geography - the teacher loved my maps etc).
My Nan was very creative being born at the turn of the previous century it was a necessary to be able to sew, knit etc. She taught me how to crochet - I can remember thinking at the time this was so modern and my Nan was so trendy!

I taught myself Knitting, my Mum could also sew - so learnt alot from her, even took a couple of City and Guilds in Dressmaking and Soft Furnishings.

Over the years I have dabbled with many things including Jewellery making, Calligraphy, Painting and Drawing, Beauty, Massage, Literature, Home Decor, Piano - and even had a go at guitar to help my son when he first started guitar lessons. The list goes on and on.
It was only after several years of not working due to health that I managed to take up crafting - this was mainly due to the fact that I thought it would be an easier alternative to doing a HND in fine art which I wasn't well enough to do.
I haven't looked back since taking this up - it has helped me immensely - although I do get very tired so it probably takes me a lot longer than most to complete a project. That being said I have loved so many elements of crafting my favourite as the moment is colouring with alcohol markers. Every day I look forward to developing my skills and learning new techniques.

Now the bit you have been waiting for - this month's challenge is KISS - "Keep it Simple Stamper". I have used three of Chrissy's digi stamps for this project and merged them using Paint Net.

Digi's: LOVE ME ANYWAY/ available from Whimsy Designs.
FORGIVEN AND SENTIMENT: "Looks like one of those days" both available from Squigglefly.

For details of how this card was created check out my blog here.

The prize up for grabs is five free digi's given to the winner by random org
You have until the end of August to get a creation made, please go back to Sarah's post HERE, find the blue Linky button and click on that to add you project. You may now use images from any Company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize. Those of you that use one of Crissy's images, from either her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw, but please respect the rules of no more then 3 entries per month:-)

Please check back here throughout the month as each Design Team member will be adding more inspiration.

Best wishes,
