Hello everyone, as you know the current theme is Friendship and I've actually made 2 cards for my turn this month. Crissy has really spoiled us and made her new releases available to the Design Team to work with, so I coloured the first image, Birdie Friend, and she was just such a dream to play with that I couldn't resist colouring Frog Friend immediately afterwards!. They are adorable to work with, and aren't they just the sweetest little scenes? Plus it's nice to have a girl and a boy version of a similar image. You can find details of both cards and more photos on my blog, Apples & Pears.

We had such an overwhelming and enthusiastic response to the DT Call we had in July that we HAD to include more of the applicants than just those chosen for the full time DT. So over the next few months we will showcase some of these ladies as our Special Guest Designers.

If you click on the images you will be taken directly to the ordering info page at Whimsy Stamps!! You can also see all of Crissy's stamps for Whimsy, both rubber and digital, by clicking HERE.

High Hopes (R only) carries tons of stamps designed by Crissy (but the artist is not specified--although her art, in my humble opinion, is pretty unmistakeable ☺--if you have any questions about Crissy's HHS images just email us or leave us a comment and we will respond.)
Thanks for taking a look today!! Don't forget the current challenge this month has now started and it's all about FRIENDSHIP!! Scroll to yesterday's post to get all the details and download information. Hope you'll play along!!
Hello Sundays With Crissy fans!! Hope you all had a chance to check out our new permanent DT Members!! We feel so blessed to have these wonderful ladies on our team!! We also will be having a couple of guests pop in this month so stay tuned!!! We also would like to say goodbye and thank you to Lisa and Mary who are both stepping down. They have such great talent and will be missed!!
Now on to this month's challenge! This month our theme is FRIENDSHIP. I know some of you were feeling severely deprived with last month's SIMPLE theme so let 'er rip crafters, bring out the bling, the string, etc. but your card has to be about friendship--how easy is that??
Here's what I did for my card...
I used Crissy's fabulous image "Great Day to Fish". Don't you just love these two buddies?? I have seen a lot of cards coloured with prisma pencils on kraft paper lately and just had to try this type of media. Way before Copics came on the seen I used Prismacolor Pencils with Odourless Mineral Spirits quite a bit, so it was nice to go back and play with another media again.
I do apologize for the poor photography. I tried for about 3 hours to get some decent shots but nothin' doin'. UUUrrrrrggghhh. Anyway, I hope to put this project together in an "ABC" book one day that displays many of Crissy's beautiful images with alphabetic themes. You can check out the rest of the details on this project on my personal blog at Sally Cicada Designs.
No without futher ado...here are the winners of Crissy's Artist Choice Award, for last month's challenge with the theme of "K.I.S.S.--Keeping It Simple Stamper"!! These are cards that caught my eye for one reason or another, that I felt were the most impressive from the bunch! Ladies, don't forget to pick up your blog award badge on the sidebar for shining this month!!

Hi, I'm Sarah and I live in SW Ontario, Canada with my husband, daughter, and two crazy cats. I have been an avid scrapbooker for most of my life and started making cards about 4 years ago. Most of my stamp collection at the moment is rubber but I have also fallen madly in love with digital stamps too!! I gravitate to using alcohol based markers to colour my images but also love to use Prismacolor pencils with mineral spirits too; sometimes combining both methods. I feel very excited, blessed and honoured to be a member of Crissy's Crew!!

Carole
Hi, my name is Carole and I live in the UK. I’ve been crafting for about 5 years but since I discovered Copic markers I really haven’t looked back. Digi stamps are my latest favourite thing and I enjoy the challenge of having a new image to play with. I love being part of the crafting community, it really seems to bring out the best in us all, and I’m excited and very honoured to be a part of Crissy’s team.
Jane Johnson
"I'm Jane from the UK and I am a stay at home Mum to two gorgeous children who keep me entertained and busy. I have loved to draw, paint and create for as long as I can remember and soon became addicted to card making when I purchased a small kit 2 years ago. I have been incredibly lucky since I started my blog and am on a few design teams and made lots of special friends. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of Crissy's team and to have the opportunity to work with her adorable images."
Linda Jessup
Hi I’m Linda. I am from the UK, but for the time being I live in Bahrain with my lovely husband Brian who works here, he is very supportive to my crafting adventures as I call them, which is bit of a task sometimes with all the mess I make in my craft room. I have always loved arts and crafts especially scrapbooking, altered art and card making but my adventures took a turn when I found stamping three years ago and was hooked straight away, I use all kinds of mediums but Copic and Pro Markers are my favourites.
MIchelle Petermann
"Hi everyone -- I'm Michelle & I live just outside of Milwaukee, WI. I'm married with 2 boys, 9 &12. I've been stamping for 6 years now & I LOVE cute images which is why I've been a fan of Crissy's since the day I met her. It means so much to me to be part of the Crew! My preferred way of coloring is colored pencils/Goo Gone but I do try desperately to use Copic Markers & even more desperately -- watercoloring! Thank you so much to Crissy & the team for having me!!"
Shari McLaughlin
I am mom to two adults and 4 fur babies, and have been a crafter forever. I started with rug hooking, crocheting, faux painting, and then ran my own tole painting business for years ( even cut my own pieces of wood ). Scrapbooking entered the picture about 14 years ago when I moved to Calgary. When Copics first came out I resisted - who needed another addiction LOL!!! - that lasted for a whole two months, and then I took a basic class and the rest as they say is history!! I became a Copic Certified Designer in April 2010 and LOVE everything about Copics, including experimenting with all kind of techniques, and passing my passion and knowledge on to fellow Copic lovers!!! I am so honored to be invited to join the DT at Sundays with Crissy, and am looking forward to getting to meet new people through the challenges.
Shannah Bartle
“Hi! I'm Shannah and I live in the beautiful Hills region of South Australia. My wonderful hubby is a Police Officer, and we have one cat (ie demanding fur-baby) called Poppy. I love traveling, photography, talking and reading, and am happy as long as I'm learning something! I took up card-making about 3 years ago, and the very first stamps I fell in love with were Crissy's High Hopes cuties! So you can imagine how excited, nervous, and completely honored I am to be a member of Crissy's Crew! :)”
Rosalien Zwackhalen
Hello, my name is Rosalien Zwackhalen and I live in the Netherlands. I’m married and we have 2 grown up children ( a daughter and a son ) who live on their own now. We also have 2 German Shepherds who are the greatest dogs in the world. I had a lot of hobby’s in the past but Scrapbooking and Card Making with rubber or digital stamps are my favorites. I discovered them a couple of years ago and I never loved a hobby as much as this one. Soon I started my own blog and joined some DT’s. I was so excited when I was asked to join Chrissy’s DT. I love her images and they are so great to color. And it’s so great to be part of this amazing and super talented DT.I hope I can inspire you a little with my creations, just like you all do to me with your creations.
