Challenge No. 13 ~ Ribbons
Hello and happy Wednesday afternoon! I'm so excited to have had the opportunity to color Crissy's newest carousel horse ~ Dance of Love. And, yes ~ I do love him! :)
As you can see, I've wrapped some narrow pink (REALLY bright!) ribbon around the pole and tied a double-looped bow for the top for our RIBBON challenge this month.
My post is a little late today since I saw the tutorial this morning at Splitcoast Stampers on a Sliding Pop-Up card and thought it would be perfect for this image!
This is how the card appears folded ~ and then when you pull the brown tab at the bottom, you see this . . .
Gorgeous Mr. Dance of Love in all his splendor!
Here's another photo with a different angle:
And finally, here's a closeup of the sentiment sticker:
Yep, LOVE is all you need! :)
For details on this card, I hope you have a minute to pop over to my blog.

Ribbons with Zoe
Hi Everyone!
I hope you had and or are having a great weekend! It's my turn to share a project with you today.

Unfortunately my mojo flew right on out the door and I umm.. forgot I was supposed to use a ribbon... and the fix... well... let's call it a fix. haahaa
So I am sorry for the half baked project I am sharing with you today. :(
I had this bright idea to use Crissy's new gorgeous carousel horse "Dance with Love" available from Whimsy Stamps and combine it with the new Carriage of Love available from MiC.
I removed the pole to 'free' the horse and then began playing around with the positioning. I think the idea was good but not so sure on the execution. :)
Here's a close up of Crissy's gorgeous horse!
I was going for a light white horse and decided to try for a blotchy water colour effect to keep it light but still give it some definition.
Copic Marker Colours:
Blender, E30, E33, E53, B60, C02, N04 & Y00, Y13, Y17, YR24, R22, R24, R29 & C07, C05

I decided to use "Hey Chickie" which I know is a Spring image but I really wanted to use her on my "sort of Valentine/Love card" So I dolled her up in a Red dress and added some frills to keep her simple but with a Valentine card feel! I love my border punch and wanted to use it again in a little different way then last months card, added some flat back pearls and striped ribbon, and I think I'm on my way at my Valentine's Day cards that I will need. If you would like to get all the details on my card please stop by my blog Here. Remember to check back often during the month for the other DT members creations

Challenge #13 "Ribbons" with Crissy
Happy New Year! And welcome to our first challenge of 2011 -- Ribbons!
The challenge runs all month long, and my fantastic DT will be posting all through out this month so be sure to check back and see what they have created! This month Mary Lou is filling in for Maria and we are so excited to have her on board for now! Welcome Mary Lou!! waving!!
There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by Random.org at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month. I thought it would be cool to make a circular frame and wrap a ribbon around it. I think I've seen it done somewhere in blogland before some time ago, but who knows where. Just sayin', it isn't my idea. I used my digital image, "Teddy's First Christmas" and coloured it with water colour inks. This is actually the original that Whimsy is selling as a pre-coloured digi. I used some paper from mine and Ann's original designer paper, also sold at Whimsy. It is from the Holiday Folly pack. This is my attempt to start my Christmas cards early! Actually I do that every year, but still don't seem to have enough when the season is upon us. So I want to really stock up on Christmas cards all year long. I'm seriously considering participating in the monthly Christmas challenges out there to get me going! Here is a link to my personal blog, Crissy's Art 'n Heart.
Now here are the winners of my Artist Choice Award, in no particular order. These are cards that caught my eye for one reason or another, that I felt were the most impressive from the bunch!
And now announcing the winner for the blog candy from Challenge 12! They will get to choose two free digi images from my collections:
Random Integer Generator
Here are your random numbers:
