Challenge #19--DT Call & Time to De-Stress!!

Well hello there!! I'm back after recovering from an eye injury (the dangers of bra shopping--LOL--that's a tale for another day!!) Thanks Crissy for taking over for me!!! Now before I get on with this month's challenge I want to point out that we are currently having a DESIGN TEAM CALL!!

If you haven't already seen the post detailing entry rules please click on the image above and you will be taken directly to the deets!!

Now for this month's challenge--it's all about De-Stressing!! At least that's how I like to spell it!! So get out your inks, your sandpaper and your distressing tools and show us your version of distressing.

Here's my version using Crissy's newest image, "Noah's Ark", from Whimsy Stamps!! I used a distressing tool around the edges of my artwork and the subsequent layers underneath. The water is made up of torn strips of paper that have been chalked. I also used Tim Holtz distressing inks around my artwork to give it that "out to sea" look. Don't ya just love those monkeys??? I'm pretty sure old Noah had lots of fun trying to keep them in check LOL!!

And the inside...

For details on my card you can go to my personal blog Sally Cicada Designs.

Now it's your turn to show us your DE-STRESSED cards!! See upload instructions below!! There will be five free digi's given to one lucky challenge participant who will be chosen by at the end of the month! You may now use images from any company and still be included in the draw for the blog candy prize! Those who use one of Crissy's images, either from her rubber or digital collections will be entered twice in the draw. But please respect the rule of no more than three entries per month. Otherwise your entries could be deleted.

Here are the winners of Crissy's Artist Choice Award, for last month's challenge with the theme of "Here Comes the Sun"!! These are cards that caught my eye for one reason or another, that I felt were the most impressive from the bunch! Ladies, don't forget to pick up your blog award badge on the sidebar for shining this month!!
