Challenge #22--Thanks/Thanksgiving--Sarah's Turn

Happy October Everyone!!!! Only 3 more months left of 2011...where has the time gone?? Autumn is descending upon Southern Ontario and soon it will be time to get out my woolies...brrrrrrr! I love the fall!!! Where I live the colour of the changing leaves can be quite spectacular!! The autumn also contains my most favourite holiday celebration--THANKSGIVING!! I love it even more than Christmas!! I realize not everyone around the globe celebrates this holiday, and our ☺friends☺ to the south celebrate it in November, so that's why this month's challenge is two-pronged. Our theme for October is Thanks or Thanksgiving!! That means Thank You or Thanksgiving Cards are welcome for this challenge!! I don't know about you, but when it comes to giving thanks, I could make a card everyday of the year to give to those who bless my life and still not have enough cards to go around!!

My card for this challenge is going to Scott, a friend of our family who is currently serving with the Canadian Forces over in Afghanistan!! Waving Scott!!! I used one of Crissy's newer digi images called "Turk in Boots"--don't you just love him?? Crissy is the master when it comes to making turkeys look cute lol!!

For more deets on my card go to my blog >>>Sally Cicada Designs!!

Now without futher are the winners of Crissy's Artist Choice Award, for last month's challenge with the theme of "Friendship"!! These are cards/projects that caught my eye for one reason or another, that I felt were the most impressive from the bunch! Ladies, don't forget to pick up your blog award badge on the sidebar for shining this month!!
