It's summertime and so it's time to make bright colorful cards, and for this month's challenge I colored up "Back to School Bart", imagining him packing up his backpack and running off to enjoy the summer holidays.

The theme for this month's challenge at Sundays with Crissy is Animals. I have owned several of Crissy's images from High Hopes stamps for awhile now, so this was the perfect opportunity to use one - this is "North Wood Stack".

Our challenge this month is Beat the Mid Winter Blues, and you can interpret the theme a number of different ways - a blue themed card, a card with a spring/summer theme, a card showing how to enjoy the winter season, etc - you choose!!!

Challenge #23 - Shari's turn

It's my turn for this month's challenge, and I have used "Little Artist" that is one of Crissy's newest digital images available from Whimsy Stamps.  This little sweetheart has been busy painting the decorations on the trees.  The challenge this month is to make a Christmas card with non-traditional colors, and I had just purchased the Saint Nick collection of papers from Fancy Pants, which has wonderful prints using yellow, so here's my take on the non-traditional.  Since you are not suppose to use any green or red on your card, I used Pink Smooch to color any red on the dp.  For more details about my card please visit my blog here.

Good morning everybody!  I hope you are all having a wonderful day - do you realize that Christmas is only two months away?  Wow, how time flies when you're busy coloring!!  Today it's my turn to post a card, and the theme for October is Thanks or Thanksgiving.  Since the Canadian Thanksgiving was celebrated a couple of weeks ago, I decided to make a Thank You card using the digital image "Rose Butterfly" available here at Whimsy Stamps.

Challenge #20 -- K.I.S.S.-- Keep it Simple Stamper-- Shari's Turn

Hi, my name is Shari and I am so thrilled and honored to be a new member of the Sundays with Crissy Design Team.  I am mom to two adults and 3 fur babies, and have been a crafter forever.  I started with rug hooking, crocheting, faux painting, and then ran my own tole painting business for years ( even cut my own pieces of wood ).  Scrapbooking entered the picture about 14 years ago when I moved to Calgary.  When Copics first came out I resisted - who needed another addiction LOL!!! - that lasted for a whole two months, and then I took a basic class and the rest as they say is history!!   I became a Copic Certified Designer in April 2010 and LOVE everything about Copics, including experimenting with all kind of techniques, and passing my passion and knowledge on to fellow Copic lovers!!!   I also enjoy the technique of painting with distress inks to color images, so every once in a while I will switch things up - keeps everyone guessing!

               Our challenge for this month is K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stamper.
